OUR QUALITY POLICY
We are committed to ensure competence of measurement system via competence personnel, reliable method, fit for purpose equipment, controlled environmental conditions, controlled errors, traceable results, controlled of sample, suitable laboratory facilities and evaluation of measurement uncertainty.
We are also committed to ensuring impartiality in the provision of our services. As such, we ensure that commercial, financial, family relationship or other undue pressures do not influence the delivery of our services and decision making. We also ensure all test results be performed, checked and verified by different functions.
We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of information obtained or created during the course of our delivery of inspection, testing and related services. We shall implement measures to ensure that all personnel including any committee members, contractors, or individuals acting on behalf of us abide by these confidentiality requirements.
We are also committed to ensure consistence operations via programs and practices of Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) and Proficiency Testing (PT)/ Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC), Internal Quality Audit (IQA), Management Review Risk Management, Handling of Complaint & Non-Conformity, Implementation of Corrective Actions and Continuous Improvement activities
OUR QUALITY OBJECTIVE
It is the intention of GESB to fulfil the accreditation requirements to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and the laboratory's LQMS by following Quality Objective:
- GESB shall use only reliable and calibrated testing and measuring equipment in order to achieve the best performance and consistent quality outputs.
- GESB shall consistently deliver quality by adhering to set specifications, regulatory statutory requirements and standard MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017
- To grow, develop and qualify competent personnel with required knowledge and skills to deliver test according to specified requirements. All job assignments shall be performed by adequately trained and qualified personnel. Personnel competency and qualification are continuously maintained and upgraded via in-house or external program.
- To control laboratory environmental conditions to meet the requirement of the test standard and related specifications.
- Continuous monitoring and supervision on impartiality in operation by laboratory management and supervisor
- Control of impartiality risks to prevent the laboratory personnel from any potential risks.
- GESB shall obtain the supplies and services from the suppliers who can meet GESB's quality and technical requirements.
- To practice Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) and Proficiency Testing (PT)/ Inter Laboratory Comparison (ILC) programme to ensure validity of test results,
- To implement IQA and Management Review annually to monitor and review overall compliance of the laboratory to the accreditation and GESB requirements
- To implement Risk Management to control potential risks that can jeopardize the validity of the test results
- GESB shall achieve customer satisfaction index (CSI) of 80% and above by ensuring that all test results are valid, precise, accurate and traceable to SI Unit.
